Our group boat tour departs from two primary locations in Vis town. To ensure our group Vis Island boat tour stays on schedule for everyone, we offer the following pickup points:

Custom Pickups: If you are staying elsewhere, we can often pick you up along the way. Please note that the location must be directly on the seaside (accessible by boat) and you must let us know in advance to confirm it is a safe stopping point for our skipper. Please inform us of your preferred meeting point when booking.

To ensure you have a comfortable day at sea, we recommend bringing the same essentials you would for a day at the beach. Here is our expert-recommended boat tour packing list:
  • Swimwear: Essential, as we make several swimming stops in beautiful bays.
  • Sun Protection: Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a wide-brimmed hat.
  • Towel: A lightweight beach towel is perfect.
  • Light Clothing: Breathable clothes or a swimsuit cover-up.
  • Footwear: Flip-flops, sandals, or comfortable water shoes.
  • Camera or Smartphone: Make sure you have plenty of storage space for photos!
  • Cash: Specifically for cave entrance fees and local refreshments (see details below).
Absolutely! We provide masks and snorkels for all guests to use during our excursion. While we do not provide fins due to the difficulty of matching universal sizes, our snorkeling gear is perfect for exploring the beautiful sea of the Vis Island archipelago. Our skippers are incredibly passionate about the sea and the local marine life. They will be happy to show you the best spots and help you with the equipment if you have any questions!
There is no official age limit for our group boat tours, provided children are accompanied by an adult. We have hosted children as young as 2 years old who had a wonderful time exploring the island! Our speedboats offer shaded seating where younger children usually rest or nap if they get tired. Because sea conditions vary, we recommend contacting us before your desired date. We can check the latest weather forecast to provide personalized advice on whether the day is suitable for your little ones, ensuring a safe and family-friendly experience for everyone.
Our group boat tour typically returns to Vis town just in time for a lunch, which is when most of our guests choose to have their main meal. During the excursion, there is an opportunity to buy snacks at Stiniva Bay, where we usually spend about an hour. There is an amazing local tavern on the beach called “Peruka” that offers coffee, drinks, and food like sandwiches and shared platters—perfect for guests who need a little extra “fuel” during the trip. As always, you are welcome to bring any snacks you like and enjoy them at any moment on the boat. We have an icebox (cooler) on board to keep your food and drinks fresh and cold, so feel free to pack whatever you need to stay energized until we get back to town!
Our speedboats are very stable and designed for a smooth ride. Interestingly, many guests who usually get seasick on large, enclosed ferries find they feel perfectly fine on our open speedboats. This is because you have a constant flow of fresh sea air and a clear view of the horizon, which helps your body adjust much better than in a closed cabin. If you are still worried, we recommend sitting towards the back of the boat where the movement is minimal. Your comfort is our priority. Our itinerary is designed so that we are never far from land—the longest stretch of open sea is only about 30 minutes. In the unlikely event that you feel unwell and wish to stop, our skipper will take care of you. We can safely drop you off at the nearest accessible point and arrange a taxi to take you back to town, or if necessary, turn back to ensure you are safely on dry land. We want your day with us to be nothing but a positive experience!
Your safety is our top priority. If weather conditions prevent our Vis Island boat tour from setting sail, we offer a 100% full refund to the original payment account. Additionally, guests affected by weather cancellations receive priority booking for the next available excursion. While we understand that weather changes can be disappointing, these decisions are always made with the safety and comfort of our guests in mind. We’re travelers too! During the off-season, we spend our time exploring the world, so we truly understand the frustration of a tour being cancelled. Because we know how much these memories mean to you, we promise to do everything in our power to find a solution and make your trip work whenever possible.
No, swimming is strictly prohibited inside the Blue Cave (Modra Špilja) to ensure the preservation of this natural wonder. However, swimming is allowed inside the Green Cave (Zelena Špilja), which is also a stop on our tour. This way, you still get to enjoy the unique experience of swimming and snorkeling inside a stunning sea cave!
